Welcome to the Kicker-events website!

Kicker-events is a creative event management company which does not beat around the bush: we are not good at everything nor can we organise everything for you! For this reason, we have decided to specialise in two things: the organisation of treasure hunts and ‘drops’ (being dropped off in a blacked out vehicle, finding your own way to a specified location). Limiting? We are keen to prove you wrong; with unique team assignments, creative themes and spectacular programmes – we can guarantee your colleagues will have more fun than they've had in years on a company day out.

What do we offer?

As specialist in corporate excursions in Rotterdam, Delft and The Hague, Kicker-events guarantees unique and surprising corporate or department excursions, bachelor(/ette) parties or family days. We turn boring occasions into exciting adventures! Time and time again our enthusiastic team of instructors manages to turn even the dullest of your colleagues into team players with a sense of humour!

Our 'X-factor'

Kicker-events recognises the importance of motivated and healthy staff. People and human potential are the most important assets of the company; the staff is seen as a deciding factor in the company’s success. The acknowledgement of this factor means more and more attention is paid to personnel policy and HRM. This is achieved to a great extent through the organisation of activities outside of the normal working environment.

Each 'Kicker-event' meets three requirements which follow from these activities. These three requirements are also the key factors to the success of every event:

• Team building by creating a good atmosphere
  It is nonsense to think originality or strong physical exertion make for a successful team day or company day out. Whatever you do, whatever it costs: the measure of success is wholly dependent on the atmosphere created.

• For everyone
  A company day out is not worthy of its name if not everyone can join in: Kicker-events organises activities which are also fun for your colleagues with emotional problems, or those with disabilities.

• Quality
  Organising an event is a great responsibility. You can burden us with that responsibility and rest assured: not only are we keen to do it, we are good at it too!

Instructors

A young team delivers an enthusiastic welcome, good chaperones and a fun awards ceremony. And should something go wrong – you forget to bring all the participants along, a colleague falls into the Meuse: with plenty of experience and ability to improvise, things always work out!

Programmes

All programmes have the same set up. For instance, we always book an attract location to welcome the participants and for the final destination. We are always open to discussion about the locations. The team assignments customise the trip to your company’s character, and also allow participants the option of making certain decisions for their own event.

After a drink and/or a bite to eat, the teams leave from the starting location. With the help of a GPS and a final destination, they take to the road wholly independently, which means the team members are left to each other’s devices. In order to successfully complete the trip they will need good communication skills, teamwork and a good sense of humour!

The final destination of the teams is always flexible. For instance, the treasure hunt can become the hunt for the place where dinner will eventually be served!

The programmes are perfectly thought-out from start to finish and take about 4½ hours. As a company or department you take home a nice keepsake and you will have access to our online photo service afterwards.

The prices for the trips vary from € 27.50 to € 37.50 per person. Please contact us for exact prices or more information.

Dinner-hunting

An original and surprising GPS trip through Rotterdam, Delft or The Hague which leads to the place where dinner will ultimately be served. Length: 4 to 4.5 hours. In Rotterdam this trip can be extended by the addition of a water taxi drop-off.

After being welcomed at a unique location in Rotterdam, Delft or The Hague, the participants are told what they can expect: a GPS treasure hunt through the city. Final destination: unknown. With help of the GPS device, the teams go into town, where they will explore the city’s prettiest spots.

The GPS indicates in which direction they need to walk, but does not indicate a route! The participants find their own route from a cosy pub to a historic port. Every team keeps walking past different points, where they will solve a different part of the puzzle. Nothing is certain until the end however: will all the teams find the final destination?! You will not find it until you have answered all of the questions correctly. Participants need to use their communication skills and creativity during the trip to complete the assignments and answer the questions they are asked along the way. The teams are also busy accumulating the reward which awaits them at the end!

After having completed their journey, the participants can sit down to a well-earned dinner. The day concludes with a festive awards ceremony during which the instructors confront the participants with trivia and any misconduct... Even though they might have ‘misbehaved’ along the way, they are usually rewarded with champagne nonetheless!
